CAD Technician Designer Warrington
Are you a Self-motivated and above all a team player; displaying a medium/long term commitment to learn, share and contribute to the team, have ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with Excellent communication skills and be Competent in 2D/3D AutoCAD.
Our Client has been delivering major civil engineering and building projects for over 30 years and due to their success they are now looking to recruit a CAD Technicianto work out of their Warrington office.
You will provide an excellent level of CAD support within the framework.
Key outputs for role
1. To produce Preliminary, Construction and As Built drawings to the companies standard
2. To be the lead CAD Technician within the office, providing support to fellow CAD Team members
3. Utilise the companies IT systems
4. Maintenance/organisation of drawing files on the companies network
5. Use of scanners and printers to plot drawings
6. Recording of information / providing support to design staff during surveys / site visits
You MUST possess the following:
Competent in 2D/3D AutoCAD.
Competent at LSS Modelling (McCarthy Taylor) to produce earthworks designs; and area and volume calculations.
Familiar with import/export of data between GPS, CAD and LSS
Appreciation of civil engineering design and construction - particularly land reclamation or earthworks and setting out
