Site Agent Civil engineering Northamptonshire 18 month Contract

Our Client has been delivering major civil engineering and building projects for over 30 years and due to their commitment to continually providing high quality standards & value to their Clients they have achieved a turnover in excess of £100M mainly through repeat business and partnered opportunities. Their work sectors include water, roads, structures, waste management, commercial, industrial and public works with values to £20M.
Due to the award of an 18 month Contract in Northamptonshire they are now looking to recruit an experienced individual who is committed to teamwork and delivering a high quality product.
The candidate will have day to day responsibility for the satisfactory completion of one of the companies key civil engineering contracts in the water sector.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate a team of site operatives to produce a finished product of the highest standards.
The role involves liaising with a range of project stakeholders from designers, quantity surveyors and local authorities, to the client and members of the public. Responsibilities also include maintaining strict quality control procedures and ensuring strict compliance with all environmental and health and safety legislation and policies.
Previous experience of general civils projects is essential and the successful candidate will be conversant with current legislation including Working Time regulations.
