Area Sales Manager- Renewable Energy
Job Purpose
To promote company PV and Solar Thermal products initially directly to installers, merchants, sub contractors etc, then additionally via specification through local authorities, housing associations and contractors on both private and public sectors. To represent the company to all existing and new customers falling within the strategy of the company.
Principal Accountabilities
To secure new customers for the company materials. To look for potential new customers who are financially secure.
To monitor and control the credit facility for each customer
(In addition to above Medium to Long Term)
Gain specification in the public and private sectors via local authorities, education, health and housing sectors, housing associations, new build contractors, architects and developers
To demonstrate the company systems to potential clients and installers and to ensure orders are obtained by specifying the system within the contract documents.
To help prepare project drawings for tender and assist in writing specifications for the client
Gathering leads and following up on all positive networking possibilities. Cold calling on potential customers, whenever possible to promote company products
Experience
Basic background in building industry
Desirable:
Professionally sales trained with proven current field experience
Experience with ancillary products in the building industry
