| You will be a key member of the Area 8 MAC contract for the Highway Agency working on major on motorways, highways and trunk roads in the home are based at Sandy and Kettering.
Assist the Area Steward in ensuring a consistent high quality approach to asset management throughout Area 8.
Assist in providing the Watchman with information relating to the condition of the network.
Assist in the formulation and management of detailed inspection plans.
Assist with the compilation of four year routine maintenance programme.
Third Party Liaison - Assisting in dealing with the public and other key stakeholders regarding the condition of the network.
Scheme Identification. Recording defects and identifying schemes for rectification or improvement. |
| Skills: |
ONC Standard in Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 Years experience in Highway Maintenance
Must have a current certificate for attendance and successful completion of a 5 day Health & Safety Course
Must be aware of the requirements of the general and safety inspections
Must have experience in the Winter maintenance service plan
