| Our client seeks an Assistant Engineer to take up a varied role encompassing all aspects of highway maintenance.
The main objective of the role will be to ensure all schemes are completed to programme within agreed budget and the correct procedures are followed throughout the projects.
Main duties involve carrying out of investigation, surveys and other studies, arranging other traffic surveys, land surveys, safety audits and preparing reports on identified problems and recommend suitable solutions.
Based in the beautiful seaside resort of Scarborough, this council is involved in a wide range of projects throughout the region. |
| Skills: |
Candidates should have a good degree in a relevant subject with over 5 years experience in a design consultancy or local authority.
The post holder will hold a chartered status or will be working towards chartership.
Experience of highways design and management is essential for the role.
