          <title>Project Manager</title>

          <description>I am currently looking to recruit an experienced commercially aware Project Manager to work closely for my client based at Stansted Airport.

You will be responsible for the following:
	Manage all aspects of an Airport project at a very detailed level from pre-contract to final handover.
	Manage internal and external resources for design of connections and drawing, fabrication and installation.
	Note variations between tender and construction issue drawings
	Understanding impact of design changes
	Track, manage and report progress and costs, including variations, to Customers and Directors for several projects simultaneously, all at different stages of delivery
	Attend Client meetings
	Carry our cost comparison exercises prior to placing material and fabrication orders
	Ensure material lists are accurate and orders placed in good time.
	Communicate and build a relationship with the main contractor customer to promote company and support winning of new work
	Manage and develop rapport with colleagues
	Keep director informed at all times, in an organized, concise and timely manner
	Must be able to commit to the time required to achieve successful outcomes, with sometimes early starts or late finishes required.

Please note; this is not the same as project managing fit-outs or projects in other industry sectors and we will not consider anyone who does not have the specific experience of delivering structural steelwork and/or architectural metalwork.

Ideally you will have worked on previous heavy civil lead projects, Airport projects would be a great advantage.

At least 6 years experience as a Project Manager.

Be degree educated or similar and have a proven track record for delivering projects on time and to budget.

	Organisation and supervision of site surveys and checking the accuracy of survey results and information provided by clients.
	Feasibility study development and options appraisal.

Requirements:
	Degree qualified in an engineering or other numerate discipline with at least two years of relevant post-graduate experience;
	Experienced in using InfoWorks and a working knowledge of GIS tools and other relevant industry standard software for sewer network performance assessment;
	High quality report writing and analytical skills;
	Ability to manage time effectively to deliver modelling projects to the agreed programme and budget;
	Good team player with the ability to liaise effectively with other team members and third party stakeholders;
	Ability to understand cost / benefit issues and identify the most cost effective solutions;
	Understanding of the UK economic regulatory framework for the water industry is desirable.

This is offered as a long-term, full time Temporary position for experienced engineers.


ROLE
&amp;#x2022;	Responsible for boiler / pipework / gas systems on new build Decent Homes projects.
&amp;#x2022;	Issue work schedules for up to 10 engineers.
&amp;#x2022;	Supervise sub contractors to ensure client deadlines are met.
&amp;#x2022;	Complete RAMS and conduct toolbox talks to monitor site H&amp;S standards.
&amp;#x2022;	Attend regular client progress meetings, reporting to the Project Manager.

CANDIDATE
&amp;#x2022;	Relevant domestic gas qualifications.
