THE COMPANY

My client is a true leader in the field of HVAC equipment operating with a presence both in the UK and worldwide.  Due to continued growth and a company re-structure, my client is looking for a Senior UK Sales Executive to develop the business and expand on new opportunities emerging in the UK.

THE ROLE

Sitting within my clients Sales Department, you will be reporting into the Sales Director and will be expected to conduct a 100% New Business Development role targeting companies within the UK and in some instances Europe.

You will be expected to work from the office for 2 days a week with the rest of your time being spent on the road, meeting clients and closing sales.  You will need to possess excellent sales and negotiation skills and be able to close a deal.  

My client is looking for a true sales professional who can come on board and make things happen.  Sales can range from as little as £10,000 to that of £2.5 million therefore a broad career within sales and business development will be most important.

Ideally you will have come from a heating controls or automation background however, if you are able to demonstrate an excellent sales record along with a strong technical aptitude, my client may consider your application.  With my client being a leading manufacturer within the HVAC industry, training on their product range will be a must.

Selling predominantly into OEMs, End Users, Local Authorities, Consultants and M&amp;E Contractors, my client is looking for a professional who possessed the drive, determination and hunger to succeed and win business.

THE CANDIDATE

In order for your application to be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following:

	A proven track record within Sales and New Business Development
	A solid grounding of selling values ranging from £10k to £2.5 million
	Knowledge of Heating Controls or Automation products
	Excellent negotiation skills
	A drive, determination and hunger to succeed

You will be adaptable and creative, with: 

	A degree (or equivalent experience) in a numerate scientific discipline
	Experience of programming in a high-level language.
	Experience of numerical analysis and statistical skills
	Experience of data management in relational databases including handling large spatial datasets
	Experience of investigating agri-environment issues
